- Petri dishes are easily dispensed one at a time from the bottom of the stack; dishes are loaded at top of rack
- Rack tilts toward the rear for convenient presentation of dishes
- Epoxy coated steel wire is chemical and corrosion resistant and steam autoclavable at 121 °C (250 °F)
- Not suitable for glass dishes
