Large Volume Stirring for Tanks & Drums
The Cool Stir® Large Volume Magnetic Stirrer efficiently stirs fluid volumes from 10 L up to 208 L (2.5 to 55 gallons), with continuously changeable speed up to around 600 rpm for powerful agitation and a deep vortex.
- Direct drive motor rotates a powerful rare earth magnet that couples with 3″ through 6″ stirring bars (not included)
- Rugged aluminum support system and polypropylene platform carry up to 220 kg (485 lbs), permitting mixing in a regular plastic barrel or drum
- 100 watt (1/8 horsepower) motor is air cooled, with insulation to prevent heat transmission to thermolabile solutions
- Polypropylene sides are simple to clean
- Net weight: 15 kg (33 lbs.); shipping weight: 17.3 kg (38 lbs.); ships oversize
