Rapid, High Speed Sample Milling
The Micro-Mill® II Grinder is ideal for rapid, high speed milling of small samples from 20 to 50 mL, with a 0.2 horsepower (150 watt) motor driving a stainless steel blade that quickly pulverizes bauxite, bone, ceramics, coal, fertilizer, filter paper, frozen tissue, glass, grain, leaves, rocks, seeds, soil, wood, and more.
- Two-position rocker switch allows pulse or continuous operation; a light illuminates when the unit is properly assembled and ready for use
- Built-in safety switch and resettable circuit breaker protect the mill; grinding chamber is removable for complete sample recovery and cleaning
- Softer or temperature-sensitive samples can be processed by adding dry ice to the grinding chamber
- Optional stellite faced hard blade (H37258-0000) and additional grinding chamber (F37250-0011) available to reduce cross contamination
- Non-skid feet; overall dimensions 30.5 x 26 x 15.9 cm H (12 x 10.25″ x 6.25″); shipping weight 2.72 kg (6 lbs)
